 Samuel Mockbee and Coleman Coker of the firm Mockbee-Coker were one of twelve architectural teams invited to explore broad tectonic issues through three dimensional sculptures created from traditional building materials.
 The project was designed and constructed in Memphis, Tennessee by a team of students under the guidance of Mockbee-Coker architects.

 The form was inspired by the linear layout of an old school bus inhabited by a man in Hale County, Alabama where Mr. Mockbee led Auburn University's Rural Studio. After the exhibition, pieces of the installation were repurposed into shelter elements
